2016-2017 Swim to Survive® NWT Family Grant Application
Swim to Survive®, a Lifesaving Society program, provides a meaningful swimming experience that increases physical literacy, teaches the essential minimum skills required to survive an unexpected fall into deep water and is a proven method to prevent drowning.

The Swim to Survive® NWT Family Grant allows organizations (i.e. schools, foster groups, churches, youth tournaments, etc) working with school-aged children and their families to apply to receive $850 to organize and host a *free* Swim to Survive® family event at one of the Regional Aquatic Training Centres (RATC's).

Funding can cover: swim to survive® instructor fees, pool rental, travel, and snack/meal. (If your event will have other expenses, contact the NWTRPA Aquatic Coordinator at 403-406-9475 before submitting your application).

IMPORTANT:
- Applicants must contact a RATC (contact info at http://www.nwtrpa.org/aquatics/regional-training-centers.htm) to coordinate the event date and time, as well as discuss instructor capacity, before submitting this application.
- Events must be free for participants.
- All events must take place between December 10, 2016 and March 28, 2017.
- Application deadline: December 9, 2016.
