2018 USA Baseball Women's National Open Registration Form
The Women’s National Open will serve as the primary identification vehicle for the 2018 USA Baseball Women’s National Team.

Players from across the country will gather at The USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina, to compete in the three-day event. Registered players will be divided onto teams coached by USA Baseball Women’s National Team coaches and staff. Over the three days, players will compete in three games, as well as participate in individual workout sessions for their primary position(s).

Players selected from the Women’s National Open will make up the 40-woman Women’s National Team Trials Team that will commence immediately following the Women’s National Open taking place June 11 - 15. From that pool of athletes, 20 women will be selected to represent the United States in the 2018 WBSC Women’s Baseball World Cup in Viera, Florida, August 22 - 31. The final Women’s National Team roster will be announced June 18th.

Women’s National Open Information:
- Held June 8-10, at the USA Baseball National Training Complex in Cary, North Carolina
- Players need to arrive the evening of June 7th in preparation for being on-field first thing the morning of the 8th
- Opportunity to be selected to play for Team USA at the Women’s National Team Trials
- Instruction and interaction with National Team coaches and staff
- Players will play three games of seven innings each
- There is no fee to participate in the Women's National Open
- Players are responsible for their own transportation and lodging surrounding the tournament
- Players must be born in the year 2002 or before to participate (youngest player eligible would be born 12/31/2002)
- Players will be provided with a USA cap and shirt to serve as their uniform
- Players will be expected to bring their own pants, belts, spikes, gloves and personal items
- Players should not plan a return flight home on the 10th earlier than 3:30pm

8:30 a.m. – Registration
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Positional Workouts
2:00 p.m. – Game No. 1 – 1 vs. 4
5:00 p.m. – Game No. 2 – 2 vs. 3

Saturday, June 9:
9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. – Team BP Sessions
2:00 p.m. – Game No. 3 – 1 vs. 3
5:00 p.m. – Game No. 4 – 2 vs. 4

Sunday, June 10:
8:00 a.m. – Game No. 5 – 1 vs. 2
10:30 a.m. – Game No. 6 – 3 vs. 4
2:00 p.m. – Trials Roster Announced

Women’s National Team Trials:
- The 40 players selected from the Women’s National Open will remain in Cary, NC to compete in the Women’s National Team Trials June 11 – 14
- Selected players will move into the USA Baseball Team hotel the night of June 10th
- All expenses associated with participation in Trials (hotel, meals, transportation, etc.) will be covered by USA Baseball
- All participants will return home Friday, June 15th
- The final 20 player roster will be announced on Monday, June 18th
