Girls Code Lincoln is a non-profit organization striving to close the gender gap in STEM by inspiring young girls to develop a passion for technology and leadership.

We are looking for new members to join the Girls Code Lincoln Board. We do not require board members to have prior experience in technology, with our organization, or even prior experience on a board - but we do ask that you have a passion for the advancement of women in STEM and/or education. People of all genders, ages, backgrounds and locations are welcome to apply.

The board's upcoming focus is on fundraising. We have a give-get policy in place where each board member is expected to donate at least $500 and fundraise at least $500 each year. These amounts, however, will not get us the support we need for capacity building so we are looking for people with connections in the community who can help us do more fundraising to meet our goals.

Our board generally meets over the lunch hour on business days.
