Serve as a Tour Guide for High School Students and Teachers at EB 2017!
If you are a principal investigator, postdoc, or graduate student, and a member of the APS in good standing, meet the physiologists of tomorrow! Volunteer your time and expertise on Monday, April 24, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at EB 2017 to serve as a host/tour guide for Chicago area high school students and teachers.

The APS has invited science teachers and their students to attend the Physiology for Life Science Teachers and Students workshop held during the EB meeting (www.the-aps.org/education/K12EBWorkshop.htm). At lunch time, you will guide a small group of students (4-6) and their teacher through the poster and exhibitor areas in the Convention Center. A free boxed lunch/drink is provided to you, the teacher, and the students. You will be able to share insights into your career and educational background. Each year, students comment this is their favorite part of the day when they actually "meet a real scientist!"

If you can have lunch with a teacher and 4-6 high school students, and take them on a tour of the EB exhibits, please complete the information below. Additional information will be emailed to you in advance of the workshop. If you have any further questions, please notify Kristine Vowels (kvowels@the-aps.org) or Margaret Stieben (mstieben@the-aps.org) in the APS Education Office.
