2018 MARC Community Garden Application
Thank you for your interest in participating in the MARC Community Garden this year!

There are two formal ways to be involved in the garden this year:

1. Community Gardener:
- Rent a plot and grow your own food in your plot
- Have access to our "shared harvest" spaces
- Have the opportunity to participate in workshops and events*

Priority for plot rentals will be given to gardeners from the 2017 season and to residents with low incomes. All other applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you receive a plot, you will have access to:
- One raised wooden garden bed measuring 4x8 feet and approximately 12" tall, filled with soil
- Hand tools, wheel barrows, water (within reason)
- Garden beds are within a 8 foot deer fence and in a very sunny location

Payment for plot rentals can be made in the following ways:
$30 per plot for the season
$20 + 2 hours of additional volunteer time helping with shared spaces
$10 + 3 hours of additional volunteer time helping with shared spaces
$0 + 4 hours of additional volunteer time helping with shared spaces

Please submit plot applications by March 1st. Plot assignments will be made beginning the following week.

2. Friend of the Garden:
- Volunteer your time and receive produce from our "shared harvest" spaces
- Have the opportunity to participate in workshops and events*

*The public is always welcome at workshops and events.
