Brick by Brick Application 2026

Thank you for applying to the Brick by Brick Fellowship. We’re grateful to all of the movement leaders and partners that brought us together.

The purpose of this application is to help us get a clearer picture of what animates your philanthropic work of resourcing movements for justice. Your answers will:

  • inform our program design;
  • give you a taste of what to expect from the journey we may soon undertake together; and
  • along with other accepted applicants' in aggregate, a selection of answers will form the basis of our introductions to one another.

*Applications are due on Thursday, November 20th by 10pm Pacific Time.*

Eligibility:

This program is open to foundation staff, board members, and major donors/individual philanthropists.

We're seeking leaders who are ready to make changes to their giving/grantmaking. Brick by Brick will be a generative experience if you:

  • Have funded social justice movements in the past, but want to better understand movement ecosystems and strategies;
  • Feel that your giving needs to change under our current political conditions, but don’t yet have a clear picture of how;
  • Are eager to understand "the Jewish left" and what's at stake for us;
  • Are seeking an action-oriented community of support for your philanthropic work that is aligned with movements for justice;
  • Have power to make change within your giving/grantmaking because you possess informal authority or formal decision-making power.
