(OPERATION CREW - FULLTIME/PARTTIME)
Position Overview
The Operation Crew plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and enjoyable experience of participants on the rope course. This position involves conducting safety briefings, facilitating course operations, assisting participants, maintaining equipment, and upholding the highest standards of safety and customer service. The Operation Crew contributes to creating a memorable and positive adventure for guests while adhering to all safety protocols and company guidelines.

Responsibilities
  1. Conduct thorough safety briefings for participants before they start the course, ensuring they understand safety rules and procedures.
  2. Assist participants with harnessing, helmets, and other required safety gear.
  3. Monitor participants on the rope course to ensure they are following safety protocols and provide guidance or assistance when needed.
  4. Respond quickly and effectively to any participant concerns, questions, or emergencies, ensuring their well-being at all times.
  5. Operate the rope course equipment, including ziplines, climbing elements, and other challenges, while ensuring proper usage and safety.
  6. Conduct regular safety checks on all equipment and course elements, reporting any issues to the Rope Course Manager.
  7. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized course area, including picking up equipment, ensuring pathways are clear, and keeping the surrounding environment tidy.
  8. Collaborate with the Rope Course Manager to address and resolve any operational or safety issues.
  9. Provide excellent customer service by being friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable about the rope course and other facility offerings.
  10. Educate participants about the natural environment and the importance of conservation and environmental awareness.
  11. Attend training sessions and stay updated on industry best practices, safety protocols, and company policies.
  12. Assist in conducting routine inspections and maintenance tasks, such as equipment cleaning, rope checks, and course maintenance.
  13. Uphold all safety standards, ensuring participants are properly secured and adhering to established rules and guidelines.
  14. Maintain accurate records of participant waivers, incidents, and maintenance logs.

Qualifications
  • Diploma in Sports Science/Management or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in adventure course operations, outdoor education, or a related field is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively manage participant concerns and emergencies.
  • Physically fit and able to participate in outdoor activities, including climbing and lifting heavy equipment.
  • Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
