Dive Into Databases
Buck Institute for Research on Aging June 13-14, 2017
Join scientists from the Buck Institute and your fellow teachers to explore ways to create engaging classroom projects that address the Next Generation Science Standards. The theme of the workshop will be projects that capitalize on the “Omics” revolution. There will be demonstrations of how to use the content of the “Omics” databases most relevant to human genetic diseases. Teachers will be given time to plan the content and sequence of learning experiences for new units.
