Virtual Local Author Expo Application

The Peachtree City Public Library is putting out a call for local writers to apply for a spot in our free event: Virtual Local Author Expo. The event will take place on our Facebook page on October 5-30, 2020.
Authors (represented by a publishing company or self-published) who live in or around Fayette County (Coweta, Clayton, Fulton, Spalding, Meriwether, Douglas, Henry County) and have published fiction or nonfiction for children, teens, or adults are welcome to apply. Space is limited.
Those interested in applying must complete an application through Google Forms or by requesting and submitting an application by email to Cherese Cadet at
Authors will include their contact information and a 150-word book blurb as well as links to their book’s social media page, website, or retail page.
Participants will also be asked to provide a family-friendly 3-5 minute book talk, reading or presentation of their work. This can be a link to an audio-only or audio/visual file (Example: YouTube, Instagram, etc.). All submissions must be approved by the Library. Presentations must be brief and engaging.
Authors must also be willing to help promote the event on their own platform (website, blog, social media).
Submissions will be accepted through Friday, September 18. At that time, all applications will be reviewed and participants selected for the Expo will be contacted no later than September 25.
Upon acceptance to the Expo, each participant will be featured on our Facebook page with links to their social media page, website, or retail page to be active for 5 days from the date of being posted. Authors will provide book cover and author photos in jpeg format.

Unfortunately, we are NOT accepting donations of books at this time.

Never submit passwords through Google Forms.
