New Student Orientation
Welcome to Reynolds Community College! New students are invited to attend new student orientation on one of two dates: (1) Thursday, January 4 from 9am - noon at the Parham Road Campus in the Massey Library Technology Center, or (2) Friday, January 5 from 9am - noon at the Downtown Campus in the first floor auditorium. New students will meet faculty and staff to learn about valuable campus resources such as tutoring, transferring to a four-year institution, succeeding in classes, and getting involved in campus life. Students can also take a campus tour with our Ambassadors, who will show you the library, tutoring center, and, if you bring your spring schedule, the locations of your classrooms.

Please complete the short form below to reserve a space at new student orientation so we can gather information about why you want to attend, which will help us plan this informative event for you.

We look forward to meeting you in January! If you have questions, contact soar@reynolds.edu.

Please note
Students will not receive academic advising at new student orientation. To be advised, you should see an adviser in one of the Enrollment Services offices. If you have financial aid questions, you can see a financial aid specialist in Enrollment Services as well. These offices will be open after our orientation session but you can go into Enrollment Services now. Registration for new students began on November 27, so, if you see an adviser now, you can get a set of recommended classes and register for them. It is recommended that you do not wait until the last minute to get advised for spring classes because classes may be full. Hours and locations are listed at http://www.reynolds.edu/student_services/advising/enrollment_services.aspx.

Students who are in Engineering, EMS, or Culinary Arts, should make an appointment with the academic adviser listed on their Student Center to be advised for spring classes. All other students can see an adviser in Enrollment Services; appointments are not necessary in Enrollment Services (Room 100 Georgiadis Hall at the Parham Road Campus, First Floor Lobby at the Downtown Campus, and first floor in the lobby of the Goochland Campus).
