Treehouse Theater proudly presents "ONCE ON THIS ISLAND Jr" as our Spring 2020 musical production

Due to ongoing renovations at our new studio (910 Washington St), we have secured ALTERNATIVE locations for these Auditions and Rehearsals. Many thanks to St. Francis of Assisi parish, we will be using multiple rooms within several of their facilities. Rehearsals will lead to FOUR performances, held at the UWGB-Manitowoc Theatre, on April 23-26, 2020.

The PRODUCTION TEAM includes:

Auditions for every role in the show are open to interested youth, ages 8-18. Up to 60 students will be cast, with a maximum of ten between ages 8-10.

PRE-AUDITION WORKSHOP ~ Sunday, Jan. 26, 2020, from 7:00-7:45 pm
Held at St. Francis on N. 14th & Waldo in the social hall (1408 Waldo Blvd, Manitowoc)
Optional, no cost, and no RSVP needed

Thursday, Jan. 30
Grades 5-12 - 6:00-7:30 pm
Grades 5-12 - 7:30-9:00 pm
Saturday, Feb. 1
Grades 3 & 4 - 9:00-9:45 am
Grades 5-12 - 10:00-11:30 am
Grades 5-12 - noon--1:30 pm
Grades 5-12 - 1:30-3:00 pm

CALLBACKS - Sunday, Feb. 2, beginning at noon
Held at 1416 Grand Ave, Manitowoc

REHEARSAL TIMEFRAMES - T/Th 6-8 pm and Sat 10am-2 pm, beginning Saturday, Feb. 8
Conflicts, both weekly & one-time, during timeframes are allowed, but must be provided at registration (below)
Significant conflicts affect the entire cast/crew, so they will be considered in casting

DRESS REHEARSALS - April 20, 21, 22 from 6:30-8 pm with actor call times from 4-6 pm (MANDATORY)

PERFORMANCES - (MANDATORY)
April 23 & 24 at 6:30 pm
April 25 & 26 at 2:00 pm

Participation Fee of $175/student is due to Treehouse Theater NO LATER THAN February 22, 2020
Scholarship applications – submission deadline is February 20, 2020
Tickets to performances ($14 ea, ages 4+) are NOT included

I understand that being named as a cast member in the Treehouse Theater spring 2020 musical production of Once On This Island JR is a privilege and a commitment that my child(ren) MAY earn through Auditions. I have reviewed the actor and cast family expectation policies and will support my child in attending rehearsals, when called. All known conflicts, both weekly and one-time, during the rehearsal timeframes have been properly noted on this form, so unexcused absences will be minimal, if any. As a condition of my child’s participation in this production, I hereby release and hold harmless Treehouse Theater, St. Francis of Assisi, and UWGB-Manitowoc Theatre and all of their respective owners, employees, volunteers, agents and representatives, from and against all claims, damages, and other liabilities whatsoever, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, or property damage, which relate in any way to my child’s involvement. *
