Who can apply?* All girls in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade are welcome to apply for 2018/2019 clubs. * Girls in grade 8-12 may apply as a Junior Mentor.* We are not able to accept applications for Junior Kindergarten or K1 students. * Please note that we are only accepting applications from Cambridge residents. We aim to expand our programming back to other cities and towns in the future. Junior Mentors DO NOT have to live in Cambridge.
Application Deadlines* Applications received by January 20 will be considered first in club placement. * Applications received after January 20 will be considered on a rolling basis for open program spaces.
How do I know if my daughter was accepted?* Submission of this application does not guarantee admission.* If the number of applicants exceeds the number of spaces available, priority placement will be given to girls of color or demonstrating economic need, as per the mission of Science Club for Girls.* The Program Director will contact you to confirm your daughter's acceptance.
Program Schedule* Saturday clubs start on March 2.* Weekday clubs begin the week of February 25.* Clubs will meet for 8 sessions. Please be sure that your daughter can attend at least 6 of the club meetings.* For a club calendar with dates, please email the Program Director.
