HOPE not hate Teacher Training Days
Since the launch of the HOPE not hate Education Unit, many teachers have approached us asking if we could put on a training event for teachers to learn more about our work and pedagogy, which we are happy to provide.

These training events will cover how power, inequality and discrimination are all linked and the importance of challenging discriminatory behaviour and language early on.

Topics covered will be:
- Pyramid of Hate
- How language reinforces prejudice
- The role of power in maintaining discrimination
- The signs of hate

So far we have planned three events in the North, South and West. Spaces are limited but if we have enough demand will try and arrange further events in order to cover more of the country and as an effort to keep class sizes small.

In addition, HOPE not hate Charitable Trust are increasing our number of Freelance Educators, who will deliver our classroom programme over the 2017/18 academic year. This is a very ad hoc role, but ideal for trained teachers who require flexible employment. For more information please contact owen@hopenothate.org.uk

Each event will start at 11am and finish by 4pm
