Walk Through California History Program
Who: 36 3rd and 4th grade students; siblings who are reading and wish to participate may be placed on a waiting list

Where: HCS Old Auditorium; meet in the basement
When: February 8, 2018; from 9:00am - 12:00pm

Description: Check in at 9:00am in the Old Auditorium's basement for nametags and team assignments. The program will begin at 9:15am in the Old Auditorium. Students, guided by a traveling teacher from the California Weekly Explorer Newsletter, experience history using colorful props, humorous skits, and a floor-sized map of our state! It's so fun!

Every participating student has a part to play in the program. Once registered, parents will receive a confirmation phone call and will be sent all the information needed. Students have an optional opportunity to dress up as a goldminer, cow person, settler, etc. Participants should leave coats, backpacks, snacks, water bottles, notebooks, etc. with their adult driver.
