Volunteer Staff selection process:The Council is committed to creating the best possible staff team for all camps; applying for a position does not guarantee that you will be selected as a volunteer staff member.
In most cases, Volunteers will be limited to 1 week of camp, based on need. (There may be times you are asked to volunteer for additional weeks if there is additional need.) Select the camp weeks you are available, and we will be in contact with you to schedule where the most need is.
Completing the Volunteer training offered before camp begins is required of all volunteers (you will be notified of the training details prior to your week at camp)
During the selection process, you may be interviewed and/or have your references checked. Background checks will also be conducted on anyone 18 or older.
Applications are treated in confidence and will only be seen by members of the Montlure Camping Council, the Camp Director, and administrative staff members.
If you have any questions regarding this application or becoming a volunteer at Montlure, please email our camp staff at: email@example.com
Thank you for offering to volunteer your time and God Bless
