For interactive & experiential sessions that focus social justice and parenting. Using a two-part model, Dr. Rani Varghese, LMSW, Ed.D. and Dr. Michael Funk, Ed.D. will introduce a social justice approach to having conversations about issues of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with our children. These sessions will benefit parents, family members and caregivers who are invested in social justice efforts with their children/grandchildren. Ideally you will attend both sessions as they run generally sequentially. Please RSVP by Fri 2/24 to reserve your spots.

Location: UNIS

Doors open at 6:15pm. Light meal and refreshments will be provided. We are thinking of soul food for the first session on 3/6 and Peruvian food for 3/13.
