Danza Azteca Macuilxochitl - Summer Program

Welcome to the Danza Azteca Macuilxochitl Summer Program!

Join us for a free summer of movement, culture, and community as we honor seven generations back and seven generations forward through Indigenous arts and traditions. Participants will learn traditional Danza Mexica, Indigenous drum beats, oral traditions, and the values of community connection and healing in a welcoming, intergenerational environment.

Classes will take place every Wednesday from July 1–29, 2026, from 6:30 PM–8:30 PM at Eastwood Park in Houston, Texas. No prior experience is necessary, and all ages are welcome.
