IYWE 2019 Audition Application
The Irish Youth Wind Ensemble will take place at University of Limerick from 20 to 27 July 2019.
Applicants must be aged between 16 and 25 on the course and must have a minimum grade 6 standard.
The closing date for applications is Monday 11th March 2019
Auditions will take place in late March in CIT Cork School of Music, Cork and Artane School of Music, Dublin.
The cost is €450 and covers accommodation, meals, music, transport to the concert venue (where applicable)

Applicants may be offered a place in the ensemble without audition, based on previous participation, ongoing musical experience and the number of applicants for specific sections.

Eligible players will be studying music in their final year of undergraduate or pursuing postgraduate studies.
Please nominate a concerto or concertos that you wish to perform.
List in order of preference if nominating more than one. . Nominated pieces must be available in original scores or arrangements for wind ensemble. It is possible that a suitable new arrangement would be performed by the ensemble but this must be by advance agreement.
