Food Expression of Interest for FUEL Summer Provision
This Summer, Achieving for Children are providing free holiday activity and food provision to young people through the FUEL (Feed Ur Every Day Lives) programme. As part of this, children are provided with food that meets school food standards, as well as information on nutrition, and how to prepare nutritious meals.

For our summer programme we are seeking food providers to partner with. As a partner organisation you would work with either one, or more, local activity provider across Kingston and Richmond, helping to fulfil the nutritional meals element each day.

You may have access to a mobile kitchen, where these meals could be cooked on site, or have your own kitchen from which meals could be delivered. Either way, we are keen to hear from you about what would be possible, the type of meals you could provide, and the costs associated with this. As a national programme commissioned by the Department for Education, funding is available for delivery of this programme, and we would ask you to outline figures in the Expression of Interest.

For further information regarding the programme, please refer to the FUEL pages of the Achieving for children website located here: https://kr.afcinfo.org.uk/pages/community-information/information-and-advice/fuel-holiday-activities-and-food-programme

For specific information about school food standards, please see the guidance produced by kitchen social here: https://www.mayorsfundforlondon.org.uk/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/School-Food-Standards-Guidance.pdf

We are looking at bringing partners on board for this programme as soon as possible, and would therefore ask that the Expression of Interest in the programme is completed by the 7th June 2021.
