Nashua Heritage Rail Trail Community Garden APPLICATION
Thank you for applying to participate in the Heritage Rail Trail Community Garden! Gate City Community Gardens is a program of Great American Downtown which seeks to foster social engagement, public wellness, safe neighborhoods, and environmental stewardship in the city of Nashua through community gardening and educational programming.

The price of a plot for the season is $35. Payments should not be sent with the application! GCCG will contact you shortly about your application status by April 1, 2018. All applications are due no later than March 20th. In the event that you are unable to pay the season participation fee, no problem! Please contact to ask about our gardener scholarship program after you submit your application.

The location of the garden is just west of Pine St on the Nashua Heritage Rail Trail, between Everett St and Stevens Ave. Walk west from Pine Street along the Rail Trail, and you will see it! The plots are about 32 square feet, or one 8x4 raised bed. The beds are very deep and can be gardened intensively, fitting a lot of plants into a small area. Water is available on site and usage is included in the garden plot fee. All gardeners are expected to take on one garden task (ie take out trash weekly, trim garden area grass biweekly, keep information brochure dispenser filled, etc) in addition to maintaining their own garden.

Please fill out the following application clearly and submit via the form or email to or print and mail to Gate City Community Gardens, 6 Main St, Nashua, NH 03064. If you have additional questions, please email or call us at 603-883-5700.

Thank you!
