College Way Grand Opening & Ribbon Cutting: RSVP

Please join Highline College, City of Des Moines and Sound Transit as we officially open College Way and the new main entrance to Highline College off of Pacific Highway and directly across from the Kent-Des Moines Light Rail Station (opening in 2026).

  • Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Wednesday, September 18 at 2:30 pm
  • We will gather around the roundabout (traffic circle with Highline College sign) on College Way and Highline College East Lot
  • Brief presentations by City of Des Moines, Highline College and Sound Transit
  • Refreshments and information provided by City of Des Moines, Highline College Foundation and Sound Transit
