Hi everyone! We are SO HAPPY that you have chosen to become a FIRST Ladies regional partner to spread the importance of inclusion in FIRST Robotics.Â
Same as last year, we are on a mission to get as many teams involved with our program as possible. To do this, we have eliminated "requirements", and instead initiated the FIRST Ladies Certificate Program. We also are now encouraging multiple teams in the same city to become regional partners.Â
All teams are encouraged to complete or exceed the activities listed below. However, if your team completes all of these tasks before 4/30/25, you will earn the FIRST Ladies Certificate of Recognition. You will be able to show off this certificate at future competitions to acknowledge your dedication to promoting STEM inclusion in your community.Â
Tasks to complete to earn FIRST Ladies Certificate of Recognition 2024-2025:
- 1 FIRST Ladies event in your community, reference this document for ideas:Â
- 1 outreach event promoting inclusion of underrepresented people in STEM in your community.Â
- Engage with FIRST Ladies at least 3 times on Social Media by making a post that exemplifies our mission, uses our logo, and tags our account (Instagram @ladiesinfirst)
Again, you are ENCOURAGED to EXCEED these expectations!! Let's make an impact on our communities one event at a time. If you cannot complete these tasks, you will still be a part of our FIRST Ladies Regional Partner community!
