Date: Saturday, September 28

Time: 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm

On this hike you'll learn about some of the special features of Sandy Lake Regional Park, and the broader area. We'll visit old growth forest stands, meet some of the plants and wildlife of the park, and see areas that could be added to the park.

This is a moderately challenging hike. It starts out on gravel paths, but then goes onto informal trails. The trail terrain is uneven and requires good footwear. It is a long, steady uphill hike to get to the lookout over Marsh Lake.
