Six Month Novel Application

The Six Month Novel runs from Monday 10th March to Sunday 7th September, 2025. Applications close on Sunday 2nd March (midnight UK time), but if we fill up beforehand we reserve the right to close applications early. 

Please note that you MUST have completed all research before we start. This is an intense six months, four of which are writing time, so there is no time to get sidetracked.

Questions with an asterisk are required, but we'd love for you to fill it all in. The more information we have the more we can make sure we're right for each other and that we're tailoring discussions etc to your needs.

Where and when is it set?
Who are your main characters? What do you know about them so far?
Tell us about your novel idea in a 100-300 word mini synopsis. We want to know: who the main character is, what they want, what the central conflict/question is, who/what stands against them and how it ends. If you have a working title, put it at the top. Make sure you tell us how it ends! 
We know that not everyone will have complete information on all of this. If that's the case for you then it's fine, that's what bootcamp is for. We just need to be certain you have enough of the bones to work with and that your story will work as a novel, so let us know what you're thinking rather than leaving us on a cliffhanger.
