Nassington Village Hall
Usage and facilities questionnaire

Although the Trustees of the Village Hall are hoping for a new village hub in the future, in reality this may be some years away and in the meantime it is important to maintain the upkeep of the existing Hall. Our aim is to make your experience in the Village Hall a good one with some improvements planned to make it more practical, comfortable and welcoming for everyone.

We'd love to receive your views and support in relation to our application for a grant to improve the current facilities.

We have already refurbished the ladies toilet so that it is fresher, brighter and much more pleasant. Additional improvements we are considering that would enhance your enjoyment of this important building are detailed below. We would very much welcome your input so that we get a picture of what the community’s priorities are, so that we apply for the correct grants and spend the money wisely.

How would you describe your use of the hall (in less Covid19 restricted times):
Proposed improvements funded by grant:Install new windows to replace the existing frames, which are beginning to rot. This would not only improve the appearance of the Hall but will also provide a draught free, cosier experience for the users as well as reducing heating costs and fuel usage.
Improving access for pushchairs, wheelchairs and mobility scooters may improve your enjoyment of the facility e.g. to make it more inviting for a mother’s and toddler group to meet?
Do you think you would use the hall more if improvements were made?

Other works: The interior needs brightening up with a fresh coat of paint and we’d love to have a band of volunteers who would undertake to help in any way with getting the Hall ready to welcome back its users early next year – if you would be happy to join in please include your contact details below. Details will not be used for any other purpose than contacting you about this project, will be not be shared and will be kept securely in line with the Village Hall Trust’s GDPR policy. We should be grateful if you would give your support to any of these suggestions and, of course, we welcome any ideas you might have to ensure our Village Hall continues to remain an important hub for the local community
