The Food Recovery Project Recipient Organization Intake
The Food Recovery Project is a collaboration between DSAL, ALL IN Alameda County and other partners.  We are collecting nutritious, properly packaged and safely handled surplus food from schools, farmers’ markets and other organizations, and are currently looking for partners who can receive donated food and distribute it to low-income/food insecure individuals and families in Alameda County.

Food-recipient partners will need to be actively engaged in the project, and must be willing and able to:

*  Receive donated food and ensure that it is distributed to low-income and/or food insecure individuals and families in a timely manner
*  Dedicate at least one staff member to coordinate food receipt and distribution efforts
*  Communicate regularly and openly with Food Recovery Project staff about what's working and not working
*  Work collaboratively with us to address problems, continuously improve processes, and improve outcomes
