Call for Proposals
The National Alternative Education Association (NAEA) Board is excited to host the 27th Annual NAEA Conference October 18 – 20, 2021 in St. Louis, Missouri. This conference is an annual event that brings together international administrators, teachers, counselors, professional development coordinators, and support staff who work within Alternative / Non-Traditional Education Programs.
This is the Call for Proposals for our Conference. Each breakout session is 50 minutes in length. Please note the Presenter Responsibilities that are listed below.
PROPOSAL SUBMITAL: All proposals must be submitted by June 15, 2021. All proposals must be submitted through this form. No other method of submission will be accepted.
REGISTRATION: Upon selection of your proposal, all presenters are required to register for the 2021 NAEA Conference.
COMMUNICATION: The primary presenter will receive correspondence related to the Conference. It is the primary presenter’s responsibility to relay appropriate information to all co-presenters.
EXPENSE: All presenters are responsible for expenses related to the Conference, including registration and hotel accommodations.
HANDOUTS: If handouts are being provided, all documents will need to be submitted by September 1, 2021. Submitted documents will be uploaded to the conference website and shared with registered participants upon conclusion of the conference. Please have a one/two page handout for attendees at the breakout session.
EQUIPMENT: Presenters are responsible for providing their own technology devices. This includes extension cords, speakers, etc. The presenter will incur costs for additional AV devices.
