This class meets from 1-3pm every Wednesday. The class starts on January 15 and continues for 8 weeks. Class takes place in the Graduate Resource Center. You must attend all eight classes in order to receive the certificate of completion at the end of the program.

Specifically for engineers, this class shows you how to take your research and craft it into a compelling presentation to use during poster talks, conferences, and job interviews. You will learn essential writing tools when transforming your research paper into a captivating speech. Learn the performance techniques actors use to overcome nerves, command a stage, have vocal variety, and connect to an audience. By the end of the program you will feel confident creating a presentation that will grab people’s attention while clearly articulating your research.
