Position Overview:
The Executive Director will work closely with the Board of Directors to manage the administrative operations of the MSC. This role is central to the club’s success, ensuring smooth communication, efficient processes, and a positive experience for our players, families, and coaching staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Board of Directors to oversee club operations

  • Handle administrative tasks, including player registration and communications.

  • Partner with the Director of Coaching to assist with team formation.

  • Manage team applications and compliance with WYSA and MAYSA requirements.

  • Act as the primary point of contact for the club.

  • Provide input and support for club events, programming, and initiatives.

  • The Board will partner closely for a smooth onboarding process during the first year.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • A current or former MSC family member with a child in the program, or someone with a background in soccer (coaching experience preferred).

  • Strong organizational and communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team.

  • Passion for youth sports and community development.

  • Flexible availability to meet varying weekly demands.

This is a new position for the McFarland Soccer Club.  Based on record keeping over the past year, we estimate that the average time the position requires is 13 hours/week.  Some weeks will require more time (potentially up to 40 hours) and some weeks will require less time (potentially only 1-2 hours).  You will work with the current board who will onboard you the first year as there are different tasks at different times of the year.
