MOPD Food Access Program
Thank you for your interest in the MOPD Food Access Program (FAP). The program has ended as of May 8, 2020. MOPD staff is collaborating with community partners to identify additional food security opportunities during the COVID-19 emergency. Please visit www.houstontx.gov/disabilities for updates.
• People with disabilities 60-years-of-age or older may qualify for food security assistance from the Harris County Area Agency on Aging. Please call 832-393-4301 for more information.
• Individuals with disabilities may qualify for food security assistance through the Coalition for Barrier Free Living/The Houston Center for Independent Living food pantry. In addition, rental and utility assistance may be available for individuals with disabilities that have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.
