Synaptic Hacks 2021 Registration Form
Thank you for your interest in taking part in Synaptic Hacks!
Synaptic Hacks is an interdisciplinary neuroscience hackathon taking place virtually from July 30th to August 1st, 2021. It aims to engage student innovators in thinking critically about the role of neuroscience and related fields in society.
Specifically, participants will collaboratively either build technical or non-technical projects focused around real-world applications through the lens of social justice, sustainability, and service. Some examples of "prize track" categories include (1) improving the lived experience for patients with neurological conditions, (2) assessing advancements in brain-computer interfaces, and (3) detailing disparities in mental health advocacy. The full description of all prize tracks will be revealed on July 30th during the opening ceremony!
Additionally, participants will be able to engage with guest speakers from around the world in technology, medicine, social sciences, entrepreneurship, etc. and experience a series of enriching professional development workshops. There are no fees/costs associated with registering or participating in Synaptic Hacks as a participant.
Synaptic Hacks is hosted by Simply Neuroscience, a global non-profit organization dedicated to expanding interdisciplinary neuroscience and psychology education, outreach, and awareness for students. Learn more about our work here:
