The Golden Leaf Yearbook Staff Application 2026
Please make sure to fill out this form along with registering for the course on Skyward.
(If you were in the class in a former year with Mr. Judkins, please still fill out this form to apply for an extra-curricular position on staff. Only former members of yearbook staff can participate extracurricularly if it does not fit in their Skyward schedule.)
Before you begin filling out this form, you must be sure that you meet the requirements of a member. You must meet these requirements. The yearbook needs creative, goal-driven, involved students who are interested in seeing the publication of quality journalism.
You must be able to:
1. fulfill all responsibilities in the class.
2. have had or maintain a B or better in English (if currently in English)
3. meet deadlines (no exceptions) – NO DEADLINES ARE EVER MISSED.
4. work well with a team.
5. spend time outside of class to work on the yearbook.
6. take the responsibility seriously.
7. obtain two recommendations: from your present English teacher (or previous if contactable - if not, then any teacher you feel would know you best at this point), guidance counselor, or one authority figure of your choice (no relatives).
Being a member of a team for a school publication is an honor. You must be willing to go the “extra mile” to make this yearbook a success. You must possess dedication and a level of sophistication that surpasses that of your classmates. Journalists are the recorders of the truth; to report the truth, you must exude dignity, responsibility and integrity. With this in mind, if you are willing to make the school yearbook a priority in your extracurricular life, please fill out the information below.
