Peterborough Pulse Activity Form
Pulse Activity Leaders provide fun activities, intriguing installations, and memorable experiences along the route. Proposals will be considered based on the following criteria: participatory nature of the activity, accessibility for people of all ages and abilities, ability to engage audiences, risk factors of the activity, feasibility of implementation and alignment with the healthy, active lifestyle messaging of Pulse. Upon completion of your Activity Proposal, the Pulse Coordinator will soon be in touch with next steps.
Important notes to help you plan your activity:
•The City is the lead organization for the Pulse event and reserves the right to deny any activity applications based on risk concerns or otherwise.
•Activities can be built around the themes of physical activity, healthy living, and active communities.
•Activities must be free and encourage the greatest possible participation from people of all ages and abilities.
•Activities may be active (i.e. shooting hoops at some portable basketball nets, or riding through a bike playground), or not active, but awesome (i.e. relaxing on a pop-up patio, taking in a temporary art installation, or watching a dance performance).
