We started The WALLOBOOKS Project in 2014. Since then we have been on a mission to ensure that no child in India is left behind. We do this by striving to give every child in India, access to a hypercool library + laboratory where they can shape their own future. Today we run 188 Centers across India -- 59 in Delhi, 100 in Calcutta, 4 in Arunachal Pradesh, 24 in Bangalore and 1 in Telengana -- serving 50,000+ children.
One key intervention in our work involves connecting the children we serve, to each other, through postcards. We call this program Hopelets. Two kids exchange 1 Postcard every Month for 1 Year. Thousands of kids have participated in this exchange over the years, helping them make friends and break the walls that divide us all.
We have now opened this program to young citizens in Std 3 -- 12 anywhere in India, to get them to connect with our kids. This is India's 1st Social Responsibility Program for Young Citizens, where they will participate in the growth of other children less privileged than themselves, for one year.
The Hopelets Program is a one year journey of hope, friendship & learning for your child. For you too, it is going to be a joyful experience as you see your child contributing to the growth of another child less privileged than him/her.
We have kept registration simple and fun. There are three sections that we are asking you to fill. Should take you about 15 minutes in total :) Once you complete the registration, we will get in touch with you for the next step.
