Code Weekend (Spring 2017)

The hugely popular Code Weekend is back! Interested in learning the basics of website design and code? Join us for a series of workshops that will guide you through the process of making a full web app!

We will be teaching you the basics of web development, starting with HTML/CSS and an understanding of how the web works. We will then proceed to make a full-fledged Webapp using NodeJS, MongoDB and some third-party APIs, to give you the tools to be able to build a complete app on your own! By the end you should be able to make an absolutely awesome chat client with a bunch of cool features. Take a look at what was covered last Code Weekend at http://dinphil.github.io/code-weekend/.

Food will be provided! Sign up quickly, as spots are limited! Workshops 1-4 will be hosted in Towne 100.
