Spring Into Action! - NYBG Herbarium Virtual Volunteering Workshop
Join us in the Bronx for our first natural history collections bioblitz of 2017!

Learn to interpret and transcribe historic plant collections from NYBG's William & Lynda Steere Herbarium using the online crowd-sourcing platform, Notes from Nature. All members of the public are invited, and no prior experience is necessary!

Training will proceed during the first two hours of the event, and participants are welcome to stay for as long as they wish to produce as many accurate transcriptions as possible.

Come help us share in the wonder of plants while building amazing new data sets for scientific research!

When: Saturday, March 11th - 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Event Address: Fordham University / Hughes Hall / Room 104
