Join the Housing Co-op volunteer working group 2019
SEASALT (South EAst Students Autonomously Living Together) working group has been set up to launch the first student-led housing co-op in Sussex. Our vision is a student-led initiative for affordable housing, democratic living and long-term sustainability. We are actively looking for new student founder members from any Brighton based University to make this dream a reality and set up the 1st student led housing co-op in the South East. A property owned and managed by its student members.

SEASALT is currently funded by Brighton & Hove Community Land Trust till Dec 2018 and is putting in a funding bid to Homes England to cover project costs, legal fees, planning permission, marketing, events and socials till May 2020.

SEASALT meets on a weekly basis and there are lots of ways to get involved. We are looking for enthusiastic and committed volunteers. Full training and support is provided. See https://www.sussexstudent.com/volunteer/housing-coop/ for more information on the role.
