Summer Camp - Storytelling through Comics for children (May 20th -29th)

Eligibility: Children in the age group of 8-15yrs. No prior experience in drawing is needed for the workshop.

Syllabus:

The syllabus will be the same for online and offline batches. 

Here's what your child will learn in the workshop:
- Drawing Fundamentals, 
- Cartoon drawing
- Inking
- Understanding comics and storytelling
- Framing and composition
- Storyboarding
- Drawing comics
- Making zines (short, self-published comic books)
- Assignment and Review


About the Instructor -

Sameera Maruvada is a full-time cartoonist, illustrator, educator and the founder of Saltandsambar Design Studio. Her comics on women and feminism have received worldwide recognition. She has been featured in major news publications like The Hindu, Eenadu, Sakshi, Telangana Today, Yo! Vizag and many more. She has conducted workshops on storytelling for London based platform Daisie and for IIM Bangalore. Her notable clients include director Nandini Reddy, and Aayush Hospitals, Vijayawada.
