Vessel Member Fee Structure
The 2025 Vessel fees are based on a fee of $500 per member plus $3 for each passenger in your fleet capacity.  The maximum annual fee is $2500. The structure is designed to welcome all sizes of operators.

How to calculate your total fee payable:
- Basic Fee ($500)  +  Rate per passenger ($3)  x  Fleet Capacity  =  Subtotal ($2,500 max)
- Plus GST/HST - (Please pay your provincial rate i.e. 5%, 11%, 13%)

PCVA Members are committed to passenger care and safety.  Please confirm that you comply with the following terms:  

Members of the PCVA pledge to provide a professional service and conduct themselves in a fair and safe manner that is not detrimental to the public, the PCVA or its Members, or the passenger and Commercial Vessel profession.
 
Members’ professional interactions with other Members, the PCVA, and the public shall be governed by courtesy, impartiality, and good faith.

- All member vessels shall be registered with Transport Canada
- All member vessels shall be Inspected by Transport Canada, Approved Classification Society, or meet the self-inspection and reporting of the Transport Canada Small Vessel Compliance Program
- All vessels and the member company shall maintain the required insurance as required under Canadian Legislation.

Members shall comply with all Transport Canada Regulations and orders relating to their vessels and business operations.
