FIRST Robotics Scholarship Application
As a FIRST® student, you will find the perfect fit at Kettering University. Kettering University has our very own FIRST® Robotics Community Center on campus: build-space for eight teams, machine shops, programming facilities, summer camps and several annual on- and off-season competitions. This year, almost 30% of Kettering’s incoming freshman class was involved in robotics while in high school!

In partnership with FIRST®, Kettering University awards up to 50 scholarships each year, with a five-year value of up to $25,000. Kettering is proud to have awarded almost 4.5 million dollars in FIRST® scholarships since 1999.

Here are our requirements:

-Applicants must be currently and actively involved on a competing FRC® or FTC® team.
-Provide two letters of recommendation (one must be from a mentor on the team).
-Submit an essay highlighting FIRST®-related achievements, your role(s) on the team, mentoring, and examples of your
leadership and personal initiative. Also, describe how FIRST® has influenced your career path.
