1. Activity Counselors: these positions are paid and for high school students. These positions will lead a specific activity or program during the week for each age group.2. Group Counselors: these positions lead a group of campers around campus each day, participate in all the activities and be a positive mentor. Each group (10 campers max) is co-ed, same age and grade.3. Counselor Apprentice Program (CAP): these positions are volunteer and middle school students are eligible for these positions. CAP’s will assist the leader of each group of campers around campus each day, participate in all the activities and be a positive mentor. Each camper group (10 campers max) is co-ed, same age and grade.
Requirements1. All Camp Bell Staff are required to attend the mandatory staff orientation from June 4th - 6th. 2. Staff must be currently certified in First Aid and CPR during their time of employment and current camp season. If you are not currently certified, a course will be held on campus on Friday, June 7th. 3. Staff members must be able to commit to work a minimum of three (3) consecutive weeks. It is The ability to work the entire summer is preferred. 4. The Camp Bell's season begins on June 17th through August 2nd.
The selection process to work or volunteer at Camp Bell is straightforward:1. Submit your staff application. 2. Personal Interview. Interviews will be in person and can be scheduled for during a free period during the school day or after school until 6 pm.3. Reference check.
