In this module, we will explore an approach that will benefit medical student and resident learners who encounter patients struggling to make changes (e.g., chronic health conditions, lifestyle, smoking or other substance use). By providing the perspectives and principles of Motivational Interviewing, you will have the opportunity to empower the learner to partner with the patient to improve outcomes.
