OLD SITE

After participating in the successful WhereCampDC, we started talking about a follow-up meeting. We are passionate about understanding global environmental change and haven't seen many meet-ups for our community of sci/data/hackers. We hope that all you scientists, hackers, and hobbyists will be able to join us in New York for this exciting event!

The meet-up will be on Friday, November 4 and Saturday, November 5, but we haven't decided on a time. On Friday, participants will be able to give 5-minute presentations about projects they're working on, would like to work on, or data they are making available. Our goal will be to get ideas rolling for Saturday, then keep talking over beer and get excited about the next day. On Saturday we will be providing space for groups to tackle the projects they're most excited about.

By signing up, your name will be included in the attendee list, and we'll get in touch with more details.
