WHAT IS A "NO SUB NEEDED" JUDGE?Teacher and substitute shortages are impacting the ability for schools to participate in STLP. We need support from CIO/DTCs, Digital Learning Coaches, and other educators who may not require a sub to help provide feedback on Level 1 Project pitches November 19, 2025.
No Sub Needed judges might include leadership positions such as
- Full time Digital Learning Coaches,
- District Technology Staff (CIOs, Network Admin, Technicians),
- Library Media Specialists,
- Instructional Coaches/Curriculum Specialists and
- Building or district administrators.
ABOUT JUDGING
- Time commitment: 9:00 am EST/8:00 am CST to ~1:00pm EST/12:30pm CST (or until done)
- Great judges understand that Level 1 focuses on providing specific, meaningful and kind feedback to students as they seek to reach Level 2 and Level 3 with their projects
Because 2025 Level 1 Regionals will be online, you will not need to travel out of district. The entire Level 1 event happens via Google Meet and you can join from a location that is convenient for you!
