For the past 20 years, the Inn has been sending students down to the Dominican Republic over spring break in partnership with Children of the Nations. We are excited to be going down again this year for this first time since COVID. We have a group of about 30 who are committed and more still signing up. The cost of this trip for each student is about $2,000 and all the students are in the process of fundraising. We are hoping to find congregants who want to support our college students and would also like some help with yard work or projects around the house! How it works is you decide how many students you want to come to your house, students who are going to the DR and their friends that want to support them come work at your house for a Saturday, and then you give $150 to each student that came to help. You will need to pick the students up from UPC and take them to your house, as well as take them back at the end of the day. Providing lunch is also always appreciated. We would love to partner with you!
