One-Day Workshop - Practical Workshop on Blockchain for Audit & Risk Professionals (with Live Demos) on Thursday, 6 December 2018
Blockchain has been in the market for quite a while. Besides cryptocurrency, we see more use cases from concept to deployment in the business world. With blockchain, data stored is immutable and traceable, and the business logic is enforced once it is deployed in blockchain. All these unique values enable a new type of applications in business world, and at the same time, bring in challenges in different areas.

In this workshop, we first make a short recap on the blockchain technology and the platforms available in the market. This is to ensure everyone having the same page before we go into other parts. We then pick up some use cases, do some deep-dive in them, and demonstrate on various blockchain platforms. The tools we are using are most web-based. That means you all can follow the demonstration if you wish take part of it. Finally, we will explore some security issues in blockchain, and see the latest development of "smart contract audit" in the industry.
