Emmet County Residential Recycling Survey 2025
Michigan recently passed new recycling laws that require all 83 counties to update their Materials Management Plans (MMP). One of the key goals is to increase the state’s recycling rate from 25% to 30% by 2029.

Emmet County has consistently outperformed the statewide average, and with your help, we can continue to lead the way. Your input will be used to shape the future of Emmet County’s recycling programs.

In addition to your survey responses, the Emmet County Materials Management Planning Committee (MMPC) invites you to participate in monthly meetings. The complete schedule, agenda, and minutes can be found at https://www.emmetrecycling.org/about-us/materials-management-planning

Quarterly newsletters regarding MMP updates are available as well.
