We encourage you to submit early as space is limited. Space for approved co-located events will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. A proposal must be completed for each co-located event, even if it has been hosted by CNCF before.

CNCF-Hosted Co-located Events will now take place on a single day at KubeCon + CloudNativeCon. The new “In Person All Access Pass” will provide attendees with the option to attend any CNCF-hosted co-located event they would like to attend. Have questions?

- Open Source Summit Europe | Sept 17-18, 2023 | Bilbao, Spain
- Stand-Alone Event (Not co-located with another event)
CNCF-Hosted Co-located Events are provided with full event management services:- Infrastructure Build + Support: Website, CFP Build, Registration Management, Branding + Design
- Event Oversight: Set Registration, Sponsorship Pricing + Budget Oversight
- Operations: Logistics Planning & Management: Room Set, Audio Visual, Health + Safety, etc.
- Speaker Management & Attendee + Speaker Communication
- Manage Event Sponsors + Deliverables

As our sponsors’ needs change, there has been more desire to customize their events. We want to encourage this, but are restricted by what we can provide onsite to meet this need. Thus, there will no longer be an option to purchase an onsite/CNCF-managed, sponsor-hosted co-located event package. Instead, sponsors will be able to plan and host their own events offsite, allowing them to customize as they see fit.
The Cross-Promotion of Pre-Approved Community Events sponsorship opportunity will continue to be available so that sponsors can still promote these events to KubeCon + CloudNativeCon attendees. Examples of previous cross-promotion events are: AWS Container Day Featuring Kubernetes Hosted by AWS, Chaos Day Hosted by Harness, etc.
