In consideration of the sponsorship and organization of this weekend program; I, the undersigned, waive and release Canadian Parents for French, its employees, representatives, agents, contractors, hospitality and tourism service providers and officials from all claims, demands, actions, damages, costs and liability of any kind; for any injury, death, loss or damage to any and all persons and/or property, however caused, whether as a result of a negligent act(s) or otherwise, which occurs during, in connection with, or as a result of any of my family members participation in the weekend program. I am aware that Canadian Parents for French assumes no responsibility or liability for any injury or loss, including acts of God or force majeur.

Please read carefully.

• I am aware that all weekend activities for the children and families are conducted in French. Some instructions will be given in English for parents. The parent's education session will be in English.

• I understand and agree that Canadian Parents for French has the right to make changes in the weekend program.

I understand that :

• Siblings who are not in a French immersion program are welcome to participate as long as they
understand and accept that family activities will be held in French.

• Parents can bring a child’s friend or cousin along (with that child's parental permission) as long as the friend is in the same school program or has a similar level of French.

• Pre-school children are welcome to join, however they will be the responsibility of the parent(s)
for the entire weekend, including the daycare services.

• I understand that Canadian Parents for French is not responsible for stolen, lost or damaged personal articles.

• I understand that Canadian Parents for French shall have no responsibility for me and my family whatsoever when I am absent from Canadian Parents for French supervised activities or for non-supervised activities.

• I understand and agree that Canadian Parents for French reserves the right to refuse or cancel my reservation at their sole discretion. In such an event, standard cancellation guidelines as outlined in the Booking Conditions apply.

• I agree to accept financial responsibility for any property damage caused by any of my family members at any of the sites visited or used during the weekend.

• I understand that I will be required to pay for any phone calls or incidental personal expenses that I incur at the hotel.

• I grant permission to Canadian Parents for French to take and use photos and/or video to promote the organization and its programs. The materials and copyright will remain the sole property of Canadian Parents for French and I waive any claim to remuneration for their use. (If you do not wish to appear in the photos and/or videos, it is your responsibility to let us know.)

• Canadian Parents for French does not tolerate bullying, inappropriate/disrespectful behavior or physical
confrontation. All participants must treat each other with respect. If a participant cannot comply with this rule, they will be instructed that they can no longer participate in any of the remaining activities.

• I agree to abide by Canadian Parents for French weekend rules and the directions of Canadian Parents for French personnel during the weekend.

• I understand that Canadian Parents for French may add rules up to and during the weekend and I agree to abide by these new rules.

• I understand and agree that Canadian Parents for French may dismiss me from the weekend at any time and at my sole expense for the failure to follow such rules or directions or for any other reason that Canadian Parents for French deems in its sole discretion requires my dismissal from the weekend.

• I understand that in the event I am dismissed from the weekend for any reason, I waive the right to a refund of any part of my program price, and that Canadian Parents for French may then send me home at my own expense.

• I understand and agree that if I, or any members of my family becomes ill or incapacitated, Canadian Parents for French and its employees may take any action they deem necessary for my safety and my family’s safety and well-being, including securing medical treatment and transporting any family members home at my own expense. Canadian Parents for French retains the right and has my authorization, in its sole discretion, to contact my emergency contact(s) with regard to health issues or any matter whatsoever that relates to the weekend. In the event of a medical emergency, Canadian Parents for French will attempt to cause appropriate treatment to be administered, and I authorize Canadian Parents for French. Canadian Parents for French, however, makes no guarantee that it will be able to cause effective (or any) emergency treatment to be administered and Canadian Parents for French will not be responsible for monitoring any health care that I may necessitate.

• I understand that if I am resident of a different province than where the weekend is occurring, I am responsible for my family’s out-of-province travel and health insurance.

ALL ADULTS participating in the weekend must sign below.

I acknowledge that I have read and understand this agreement, that I have been afforded an opportunity to obtain legal advice with respect to the details of this agreement, and that I have either obtained legal advice or waive my right to same. I am aware that by signing this agreement I am waiving certain legal rights and have signed it freely and voluntarily without undue influence or duress and intend my signature to be a complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law.
