Room Representatives serve as a vital communication link between the school, the SCA, and parents/guardians. Room Representatives' responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

●Share important SCA and school information with the families in their class through emails on a regular and timely basis. ● Attend Shelter Rock Parent Council Meetings and the SCA General Membership Meeting. ● Contacting parents to remind them about the budget vote. ● Assist the teacher to arrange class activities and organize parent volunteers for class trips and parties. ● Compile and maintain the class list.

Parents/Guardians may only be assigned to one class. If you have more than one child and have a preference in priority please list your child's name, grade and preference (Example: Sophia Meyer- grade 2 - first preference, John Meyer-grade 5-second preference). *

You will be notified in late August by your Grade Level Chairperson if you have been selected. If selected, a mandatory meeting will be held on Friday, September 8th at 9:30 a.m. to review room representative responsibilities.

September 20: SCA Shelter Rock Parent Council Meeting at 9:30 a.m.
